The Learning Studio is a learning centre that offers remote learning, in-person learning, and online courses for students who need support and guidance with their online or homeschool curriculum.
Students “attend” daily through scheduled learning sessions, either online or in-person at our centre from 9 am until 2 pm Monday to Friday. During these sessions, our learning coaches and tutors guide them through their curriculum, provide support, and track progress, ensuring a structured and productive learning routine.
Yes — parents select and purchase a curriculum that fits their child’s grade and learning needs. We provide guidance on choosing the right curriculum and help set it up for daily learning, but the cost of the curriculum is separate from The Learning Studio’s tuition.
Yes, we work with students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 and depending on the curriculum your child can join us at any time of the year.
No — SACAI fees are an additional expense for Grade 12 registration and examinations. CAPS Parents pay these directly to the examination board.
Yes — our daily sessions can focus on any subjects included in your child’s curriculum. Students receive individual guidance from our learning coaches and tutors in areas they find challenging

Yes — after submitting the application form, you can book a visit to our workspace. This allows you and your child to meet our learning coaches and tutors, see how we work, and decide if The Learning Studio is the right fit.
All parents are added to the relevant WhatsApp groups for their child’s grade and subjects. This provides updates, reminders, and direct communication with our learning coaches and tutors.
Our learning coaches and tutors provide daily support and guidance, breaking down concepts in ways that are easy to understand. They also give feedback and suggest strategies to improve learning at home, so your child doesn’t fall behind.
LorYes — have a remote option called Studio@Home where students receive the same daily support as they would if they were attending in person with us.
We currently support CAPS, Cambridge and GED curricula for students, and each student follows a program tailored to their grade and learning needs. We are also open to other curriculum types if parents feel this would be the best fit for their child. Our learning coaches and tutors help set up and guide students through any approved curriculum to ensure they succeed.
The GED (General Educational Development) curriculum is an internationally recognized program that is equivalent to the South African National Senior Certificate (matric). The GED is suitable for students aged 15½ and older. If your child is younger, they can enrol in Pre-GED, which prepares them for the GED once they meet the age requirement.
